The Animal Justice Party was established in 2009 in New South Wales in response to growing public concern over the abuse, harm and mistreatment of non-human animals across Australia. Further information about Animal Justice Party and what we stand for is available on our national website.
Animal Justice Party first contested elections in South Australia in 2014 and we have been continuously registered in South Australia since 2016, making us the oldest continuously registered political party in South Australia after Labor, the Liberal and National parties, and the Greens.
