The campaign against duck shooting in SA has a long history, going back to 1990.
So why isn't there a ban on a practice that is so obviously cruel and unnecessary? What strategies have advocates used over the decades?
We are now in a better position than ever to achieve a ban, but we are not there yet.
Politicians won't listen unless they think a lot of people really care (more than clicktivism), and their decision might affect the ballot box.
