The Animal Justice Party has three elected state politicians across Australia: Emma Hurst in NSW; Georgie Purcell in Victoria; and Amanda Dorn in WA. We need your help to elect our candidates to the Parliament of South Australia. Our state election is fast approaching, and animals need strong voices in the Parliament of South Australia now more than ever.

Further details are forthcoming.
🌱 Ending factory farming and fixing the food system. Factory farms are cruel and unsustainable, so we would advocate for sustainable plant-based food industries as a replacement. Along with stopping the cruelty associated with factory farming, this would provide the state with health and environmental benefits, and develop new export industries.
🩺 Introducing veticare. As the cost of living skyrockets, more and more people are finding it harder to afford to take their companion animals to the vet. Veticare would make vet care more affordable to help companion animals and local wildlife receive the care they need.
🦆 Protecting our waterbirds. Like many residents of SA, we’re sick of seeing the senseless slaughter of our precious waterbirds by recreational hunters. Help us put an end to duck hunting in SA for good!
🌊 Protecting our marine ecosystems. While the Labor government is spending your taxes to prop up unsustainable industries like fishing during this algal bloom crisis, we’ll be campaigning to see resources dedicated to actually protecting SA’s coast, like marine parks and seagrass restoration.
🐾 Ending greyhound racing. Greyhound racing puts profits before the well-being of greyhounds. This cruel industry is supported by problem gambling, while it takes up valuable land that could be used for parks, green spaces or housing. We would advocate to end greyhound racing for good and transition racetracks into places that benefit the community.
